Personal Care Materials
Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is the primary mineral component of human tooth enamel and has become one of the most widely studied biomimetic materials in modern oral care. Due to its excellent biocompatibility and close similarity to natural dental mineral, hydroxyapatite is increasingly incorporated into toothpaste formulations, enamel remineralization products, sensitive teeth solutions, and other advanced oral care applications.
Vita Spire offers four hydroxyapatite materials specifically developed for oral care applications. Types I, II, and III are chemically synthesized hydroxyapatite powders with different particle sizes and morphologies, allowing formulators to select the most suitable material for specific performance requirements. Type IV utilizes eggshell-derived calcium as the raw material source, providing a naturally sourced alternative while maintaining the characteristic properties of hydroxyapatite.
Our hydroxyapatite materials are designed to support a variety of oral care applications, including:
- Toothpaste formulations
- Dentin hypersensitivity products
- Enamel remineralization systems
- Cosmetic oral care products
- Oral care research and product development
Produced under ISO 13485-certified quality management systems, our materials offer consistent purity, controlled particle morphology, excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility, and scalable manufacturing capacity. With reliable high-volume production infrastructure, Vita Spire supports both product development projects and commercial-scale manufacturing needs worldwide.
