C70 has a similar electronic structure and chemical properties to C60, but due to its slightly larger size and different molecular symmetry, it possesses unique photoelectric and chemical properties. 98% pure C70 is suitable for use as an electron acceptor material in organic solar cells, photodetectors, organic field-effect devices, functional coatings, and in scientific photophysics research. It can also be used in high-end cosmetics as an antioxidant additive and in material modification.
